Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories are of attending the play school as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the set of the show. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
